El Teatre la Massa

The Teatre La Massa is the theatre of Vilassar de Dalt and one of the neuralgic centres of the cultural and artistic activity of the village. More over, it is a building of high architectonic and historic interest, as it is the last and most notable work by the architect Rafael Guastavino, before departing to the USA.

Currently the Teatre La Massa has a seating capacity for 496 people; it is equipped with the best technical means and adaptations for handicapped people. Its stable program makes it to the reference point as an active theatre, throughout the Baix Maresme.

Since 2002, the year in which a new period began, after a meticulous restoration of the theatre, a lot of renown artist, theatre and dancing groups, professionals and amateurs came to its stage, and thousands of spectators could enjoy the spectacles they were shown.
